You can configure the chatbot for each event by customizing its display name and greeting message. You can also add a privacy notice to remind participants not to share personal or sensitive information while interacting with the chatbot.


Setting the Default State of the Event Chatbot
You can enable the Event Chatbot in the AI Console to make it enabled by default for new events.
The Event Chatbot will be enabled by default for events created in the future. Existing events are not affected. You can customize this setting for individual events when required.

You can display a privacy notice to remind participants not to share personal or sensitive information when interacting with the Event Chatbot.
When enabled, the notice is displayed separately at the top of the chat, making it visible to participants before they start interacting with the chatbot.

You can preview the Event Chatbot before making the configured experience available to participants.
Click Preview from the Configure Event Chatbot panel to view how the chatbot will appear. The preview reflects the configured bot display name, greeting message, and privacy notice, if enabled.
Use the preview to verify the chatbot experience and make any required changes before saving the configuration.
The Event Chatbot appears on the event website and provides participants with a conversational way to find event information.
When participants open the chatbot, they will see the configured display name and greeting message. If a chat privacy notice has been enabled, it is displayed at the top of the chat.
Participants can enter questions about the event and receive relevant responses from the chatbot. Depending on the information available for the event, participants can use the chatbot to find information such as:
The chatbot can also display suggested questions to help participants begin their interaction, such as How can I get to the venue, Get me the agenda, and Upcoming sessions.
This provides participants with a convenient way to access event information without having to manually navigate through multiple sections of the event website.
You can disable the Event Chatbot for an individual event from Manage > AI Console.
Disabling AI at the portal level changes the default AI configuration for new events. Existing events and their AI feature configurations are not affected.
