Telephony in Bigin
Setup Phone in Bigin
- Go to Setup > Phone.

Under Phone Settings click Buy a Number.
- In the Buy a Number popup, do the following:
- Select the Country from the drop-down list.
- Select the Number Type.
- Choose a number from the options available.

Click Buy.

Choose the Payment Duration.
You can choose either Yearly or Monthly.
- Enter the price and click Continue.
- Enter the Billing Details and click Proceed to Pay.

- The voice data is transmitted over the internet via WebRTC. Kindly make sure your browser is supported.
Integration with third-party telephony providers
In hosted PBX (also known as cloud-based PBX) systems, the telephony services are facilitated by a provider through the internet. Compared to traditional PBX systems, hosted PBX offers a lower initial equipment cost and setup cost, low service and maintenance costs, and more flexibility due to the ease of adding extra lines and extensions.
