Visual reporting with screen recording

Visual reporting with screen recording

If you face any problem with your Bigin account, you can report them to Bigin's support team more effectively and clearly with the Record Screen feature. This feature allows you to capture your screen and provide a detailed description of the problem and generate support tickets with just a few clicks. This not only enhances the overall productivity of the support and development teams, but also improves customer satisfaction by ensuring that issues are addressed promptly.

Some problems require more detailed information for the support team to resolve effectively. For such scenarios, you can quickly record your screen to explain problems visually, cutting down on the need for lengthy meetings and screen-sharing sessions. You can directly record your problem and send it to the support team, which will automatically generate tickets. This significantly reduces the time taken for ticket resolution.

Screen recording

To initiate your screen recording.
  1. Click the Need Help? button in the bottom-right corner, or go to the user menu > Need Help section.
  2. Choose the Record Screen option.

  3. You will be prompted to grant consent for screen recording. Once consent is given, the screen recording will begin.

  4. You can preview, edit, re-record, or delete the recorded video.

Note
  • The maximum duration for recording is set to five minutes to ensure efficiency.

After recording, you can edit the recording by adding voice-overs, masking sensitive details, trimming the video, deleting the audio, and highlighting sections. After editing, you can submit the recording, which will automatically create a new ticket, making the support request process more efficient.
