Import from HubSpot


Import from HubSpot to Bigin by simply signing into your HubSpot account from Bigin. The entire import process is carried out in the background and you will be notified once it is completed.

Some important points to note before you import data from HubSpot to Bigin,
  1. Bigin supports up to 10 custom fields/module in Express edition, up to 25 custom fields/module in Premier edition and and up to 50 custom fields/module in the Bigin 360 edition. The number of custom fields that can be imported from HubSpot depends on the custom fields that you have in Bigin. For example, if you already have six custom fields created in Bigin, only 4 custom fields can be imported from HubSpot for Express edition.
  2. If a custom field is already created with the same name and type as that of the field in HubSpot then data will be imported seamlessly to that field in Bigin. Otherwise, a new custom field will be created in Bigin during the import process.
  3. Up to 10 tags/module can be imported during the import process for an Express edition, up to 30 tags/module for a Premier edition and up to 50 tags/module for the Bigin 360 edition. The number of tags that can be imported from HubSpot depends on the tags that you have in Bigin. For example, if you already have five tags in Bigin, only 5 tags can be imported from HubSpot for Express edition.
  4. Once migration is completed, the users can be found under Invited users tab in Bigin and have to be re-invited to join the Bigin account. For re-invite user add-on limit will be added.  After the migration is complete, users will appear under the Invited Users tab in Bigin. They will need to be re-invited to join the Bigin account, and the user add-on limit will be applied during re-invitation.
  5. During migration from HubSpot, Bigin supports the following sub-pipeline limits based on the edition, as long as the account does not exceed the edition-specific limit: 
    1. Express: 15 sub-pipelines + 3 default sub-pipelines 
    2. Premier: 25 sub-pipelines + 5 default sub-pipelines 
    3. Bigin 360: 75 sub-pipelines + 15 default sub-pipelines
  6. Bigin supports 250 stages from HubSpot during the import process provided the edition specific stages limit in that account is not exceeded.
  7. After the import process if the total record count exceeds the 1 lakh limit in Premier edition, 50K limit in Express edition and the 1 million limit in the Bigin 360 edition, then they can purchase an additional records as add-on to increase the limit. Additional records can be purchased until the account reaches 1 million records.

Import from HubSpot

To initiate the import from HubSpot

  1. Go to Settings (  )  > Data Administration > Import.
  2. In the Import page, do the following:
    1. Choose HubSpot.

    2. Choose a target Team Pipeline from the available options and click Import Now.

    3. Sign in to your HubSpot account.

  3. You will be notified when the import is complete via a pop-up and an email.

View import details  

The consolidated list of data that has been imported can be viewed from the Import History page in your Bigin account. Details such as the number of records that are added or skipped will be displayed. The reason the records have been skipped in the import process will be specified. Some of the common reasons include mismatch in data type, format. You can download a copy of these records, fix the errors, and import them in the appropriate module. You can also undo the import to remove all the data that was imported from HubSpot.
 

To view Import history

  1. Go to Settings (  )  > Data Administration > Import > Import History.
    Import History will display the number of records that are imported, as well as the user who initiated the import process.
  2. Click to view the number of records skipped or added.

Undo Import

You can also undo the import to remove all the records that were imported from HubSpot.

To undo the Import
  1. Go to Settings (  ) > Data Administration > Import History
  2. Hover over the HubSpot row to view the more icon.
  3. Click Undo this import.
