What are merge fields in Bigin?

Merge fields help you personalize email templates by populating dynamic content in the email. For instance, you can add contact name, phone, deal stage or any record related information to the email.

Merge fields are available only in Email Templates. They will not appear while composing emails.

To insert a merge field

Go to Settings > Channels > Email > Templates.
Click Add template.
In the Create Template window, enter the email content. In places where you want to populate dynamic content, type # to insert a merge field.
