Why did importing contacts fail and get skipped?
Go to Settings > Data Administration > Import > Import History to check details.
The Import History shows records added, updated, skipped, along with the Source and Module.
By clicking the Skipped Records count, you can view error messages and download skipped records to fix and re-import.
If the issue persists, contact support@zohobigin.com with supporting screenshots and, if possible, a screen recording. Note: Import details (added, skipped, updated) are only available for 7 days from the import date.
How can we remove duplicate records created by importing the same file twice?
If duplicates are created due to consecutive imports, you can Undo one of the imports.
Steps:
Go to Settings > Data Administration > Import > Import History.
Find the import you want to revert.
Select Undo Import.
Can I roll back wrong updates caused by importing the wrong file?
No. Undo Import only works for newly added records, not for updates.
If existing records were incorrectly updated, restore data from a Data Backup (if available)

Why am I unable to Undo the import this time?
Undo Import has some constraints:
Once data is updated anywhere in Bigin, it cannot be rolled back. Only one import action can be undone.
Why don’t I see the Undo option for my import?
The Undo Import option is available only within 30 days from the date of import. After 30 days, the option will be disabled.
Also:
If you selected Both (Add & Update) while importing, Undo will only remove newly added records, not updated ones.
If you selected Update Existing Records Only, Undo will not be available.
Why can’t I see older imports in Import History?
Import History displays only the last 60 days of imports. Older entries will no longer be visible.
Why is importing stuck at the Field Mapping stage?
Clear your browser cookies and retry.
Try using another browser.
Test with an alternate file.
Why are company details missing in imported contacts?
The Company Name field is a lookup. To link contacts to companies:
Import Company records first
Import Contacts, ensuring Account Name/ID matches the companies imported earlier.
Import Pipelines to associate them with companies and contacts.
Example: If you import pipelines first, companies won’t exist to associate them with.
Why was only partial data imported, even though no errors are shown?
Check the file size and row count. Imports have limits on both. Records beyond the allowed limit will be skipped.

How do I find the API key to migrate from Pipedrive?
In Pipedrive, click your profile icon > Personal Preferences > API.
Copy your API Token and paste it in Zoho Bigin migration window.
This authenticates the migration.
Why did HubSpot migration skip data due to format errors?
This usually happens due to data type mismatches (e.g., Date/Time format).
You can undo the migration, fix skipped records, and re-import.
Why can’t I migrate again after reaching the limit?
Zoho Bigin allows a maximum of 3 migrations. After that, further migrations are blocked. If you still need to migrate remaining data, contact support@zohobigin.com.

Why can't we download the export file?
Please check your Browser setting if the POP-up and redirection is enabled. If not, please enable it and try again to download. Example: Shown on Chrome browser settings. You can check on your browser settings.

Why does the data exported from our Bigin account not match the original?
Check whether the exported file asked to change the format while opening.
If you were still unable to find any, please write to us at (support@zohobigin.com) along with the exported file, and the detailed (full page) screenshots of a few records in your Bigin to confirm its visibility against the exported file to check and assist further accordingly.

Why is some Company field data missing in export?
This depends on the View and Fields selected during export.
If the All Companies view wasn’t selected, some records/fields may not appear.
If you choose selective fields, only those fields will export
Re-run export with the correct selections.
