A team pipeline is a multi-dimensional workflow designed to manage and unify a specific business or operation.
A sub-pipeline is a workflow designed to manage a specific process within a business or operation. A team pipeline can consist of any number of sub-pipelines.
Creating a team pipeline in mobile
In mobile, users can create pipelines from the existing templates. As soon as a user signs up for Bigin from their mobile, they will be redirected to the Choose Template page, where they can choose a template as per their team or industry's need. There is also a list of most used templates in the page for users' reference.
Once a template is selected, the users will be able to see a preview of the pipeline and then tap on Use Template.
They will then be redirected to a form to fill in their company's basic details like company name, phone number, time zone, language, and currency. They'll be directed to the Pipelines module as soon as they tap Explore Bigin.
Users can create a team pipeline from the pipeline module by tapping on + Team Pipeline. Alternatively, users can also create a pipeline from the pipeline detail page by tapping the pipeline's name in the top bar and selecting + Team Pipeline.
Adding a record
A record is an element which holds relevant information. In other words, it represents a deal, request, interaction, contact, etc. It moves through the different pipeline stages in order to track and manage the workflow.
To add a record
- Tap the Add icon in the pipeline view.
- Fill the necessary fields and tap the tick icon to save the record.
Views in pipeline
Users can view their pipeline records in different formats like list view and pipeline view.
List view - It displays the pipeline records in rows and columns, allowing users to consume maximum data at a glance.
Pipeline view - It displays the pipeline records (which are in the form of cards) organized according to the stages of a pipeline, allowing users to view the data in a structured manner.
Bigin also has system-defined standard filtered views which categorize the pipelines based on the user's activity as:
- All records
- My records
- New last week
- New this week
- Recently created records
- Recently modified records
- Not yet viewed
The views' names depend on the pipeline selected.
In the pipeline view, the users can star or unstar views by tapping the Star icon. They can also search for the desired views in the search tab.
In every pipeline, users can start upto five views
Filtering pipeline records
Users may find it difficult to locate specific records quickly if there are a lot of records. To simplify record management, Bigin provides filtering options that help users narrow down and view only the records that are relevant to them.
Users can apply filters based on various record attributes such as stage, record owner, created time, modified time, last activity time, expected revenue, closing date, and other custom fields configured for the pipeline. They can also search for specific filter criteria from the Filters page for faster access. When the filters are no longer required, users can easily clear them and return to the complete record view.
Only five filters can be applied at a time.
To filter pipeline records
- Open the Bigin app.
- Tap the Pipeline module in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the Filter icon in the Pipeline View bar.
- Choose the appropriate filter and enter the criteria.
- Tap Apply.
Users can also see the number of records they have in their organization in the Filters page.
Sorting pipeline records
Users can sort their pipeline records to access them in an organized manner. They can sort in ascending or descending order based on the record fields like first name, last name, company name, created time, modified time, last activity time, etc,. They can also search for the fields they want to sort their records by in the Sort page.
To sort pipeline records
- Open the Bigin app.
- Tap the Pipelines module in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the Sort icon in the Pipeline View tab.
- Choose the necessary field and ascending or descending based on your preference.
- Tap the Tick icon to reflect the chosen preferences.

Users can also toggle between ascending and descending order just by a simple pull down gesture on the sort icon go sort the pipeline records.
Customizing the list view using Dynamic Display
Users can customize the list view in the pipelines module by choosing the fields using dynamic display that should be displayed in the list view to make it more dynamic, presenting all relevant information directly within it.
Users can also customize the appearance of each card in the module.
Images - The initial alphabets of the first and last names will be displayed in the image tab.The display image can be positioned on the left or right, and the shape can be square or circle.
Style - Users can choose the display style of the record in the list view as list or card. They can also choose if they want to show the icons on the record card.
