The Privacy page allows users to manage how Bigin interacts with the device and how diagnostic and usage information is shared. These settings give users control over data sharing, photo moderation, crash reporting, and contact integration while helping improve their overall app experience.
Share app usage data
Users can enable or disable sharing of app usage data with Apple.
When enabled, Apple uses this information to provide more relevant Spotlight Search results and improve Siri Shortcuts and Widget suggestions based on the user's app usage patterns.
Photo moderation
The Photo Moderation setting helps users select appropriate photos before uploading them to records. When enabled, Bigin moderates uploaded photos to assist users in choosing suitable images for their records.
Send diagnostics and usage statistics
Users can choose whether to share diagnostic information and app usage statistics with Bigin to help improve the application's performance and user experience.
The following options are available:
- Crash Reports – Enables sharing of application crash reports to help identify and resolve stability issues.
- Send Anonymously – Sends diagnostic and usage data without associating it with the user's identity.
Users can enable or disable these options independently based on their privacy preferences.
The Contact provider setting allows users to share Bigin contacts with their iOS device.
When enabled, contacts stored in Bigin become available to supported third-party applications on the device, making it easier to access Bigin contact information while using other apps. Users can disable this option at any time to stop sharing contacts with the device.
