What are the limitations of messaging through the Bigin mobile app?

  • Initiate conversation in the mobile app: You cannot start a new conversation directly from the mobile app. Conversations must be initiated through the Bigin web application first by using message templates.
  • New contact conversion starting: You cannot start a conversation with new contacts directly from the mobile app.  The + New WhatsApp option is available in the top-right corner of the Messages module, but it is not currently accessible on mobile devices. This feature will be supported in the upcoming phase.
  • Message module badge notification: Badge notifications for the Message module are not available in the mobile app.
  • Message module incoming notification services: Notifications for the Message module are not supported in the mobile app; it will be supported in the upcoming phases.
