iPhone - Create and Manage Tags
Tags are labels that let you categorize records in a module based on certain characteristics. For example, if you want to categorize contacts based on their relationship with your business, you can use tags like 'customers', 'prospects', 'vendors', etc. The option to add tags is available in Contacts, Companies, Products, Pipelines, and Activities modules.
Availability:
Express Edition – Paid and Trial Versions.
Note:
- 20 tags can be created per module for Contacts, Companies, Pipelines, Calls, Events, Tasks and Products.
- Only 5 tags can be associated to a record.
To add a tag to a record
- Go to the desired module and tap the record for which you want to add a tag.
- In the Info tab, tap the Tag icon.
- Enter the tag name > tap Save.
To delete a tag from a record
- Go to the desired module and tap the record from which you want to remove a tag.
- In the Info tab, tap the Tag icon.
- Tap the remove icon next to the tag that you want to delete.
Manage tags
You can add tags, delete tags, and view the records associated to a tag in a module from the Manage tags section. Please note that you cannot associate a tag to a record from the Manage tags section.
To manage tags
- Go to the desired module and open any record.
- Tap the more icon > Manage Tags
- To view associated contacts, tap the tag.
- To add a tag, click the '+' icon. Enter the tag name and tap Save.
- To edit an existing tag, swipe right against the tag you want to edit > tap the edit icon.
- To delete a tag, swipe left against the tag you want to delete > tap delete icon.
