Basic Information

Notes
Super admins and Admins can view and edit this information. Managers can only view this information. Staff will not have access to this information.

The Basic Information tab contains fundamental information about your business. 

To access this section
  1. Click the Manage Business icon  in the top-right corner, then click General.



      2. Click Basic Information on the left panel. 



Following are the various fields containing the corresponding information.

Name of your Business – The business name you specify here is reflected in various places, such as the booking page and the customer portal. To edit this value, click the edit icon.



Email – This is the default email address (Super Admin's email address) that will be used as the sender for all notification emails sent from your Zoho Bookings account. This can be customized to be a business email address other than the Super Admin's email address.

    Only
users who have a Premium plan with Zoho Bookings can add a Business email address.   
    An email address can be used only in any ONE of the places: business, workspace, or staff. If the email address is already used in the workspace or staff, it cannot be added to the business. You can either use a different email or remove it from your workspace or staff email. 
To add a business email address
  1. Click Add Email.



  2. Enter the business email address from which you want email notifications to be sent and click Add.



  3. Enter the 6-digit verification code that is sent to the required email address and click Verify.



  4. The verified email is added as a business email and will now be used in place of Super Admin email address for email communications.


Contact Number - This refers to the official contact number for your business. The contact number is displayed in the booking page and customers can call you on the number specified here for appointment booking, rescheduling, or cancellation.



Time Zone - The time zone specified here applies to your business timings. Zoho Bookings automatically converts the time zone for customers who book appointments in a different time zone.

Currency - The currency in which your services are charged. Currency conversions are handled by payment gateways by default.

Currency is selected while setting up the account, and can be changed only by the Zoho Bookings team on request.

Start of the Week - Value specified here will be considered as the first day of the week. For example, If you select "Monday", Zoho Bookings will display Monday in the first column in the calendar view.



Time Format - Selected time format will be applied to all time values in Zoho Bookings. For example, when a customer is booking an appointment, all time slots will appear in the format selected here.

Time Format is set to the 12-hour format by default. Users can change this format at any point of time.



Zoho Bookings Branding - This button decides whether the branding text – "Powered by Zoho Bookings" on the booking page needs to be retained or removed.
InfoZoho Bookings Branding button is Enabled by default which would display the Zoho branding text on the booking pages.


The Zoho Bookings branding text appears at the footer of the booking page when the toggle button is enabled.



To remove branding text from the bookings page, this button should be disabled. 



Once the toggle button is disabled, the branding text is removed.

Note: The ability to remove branding from Booking Pages will be governed by the subscription plan users have with Zoho Bookings.
Custom Fields For In-app BookingCustom fields configured under each service will appear when appointments are added manually by staffs inside the application. You can view or update custom fields under the Service Booking Form section.
