Learn how you can create a new service in Bookings simply by copying an existing service. Additionally, learn how to move a service from one workspace to another.
This feature can be accessed by Zoho Bookings users of all plans.
Super Admins and admins can move and copy services, while managers can only view them. Staff cannot view these services.
When a new service is added, it involves configuring various settings like preferences, availability, notifications, and more. When multiple services need to be created, it can be time-consuming to configure the same settings repeatedly. To avoid this, a service can be copied to create new services with the same set of configurations.
In your services, you can perform the following actions:
Copy a service: A new service can be created by copying the settings of an existing service.
Move a service: A service can be moved from one workspace to another.
Click Services on the Booking menu bar.
Select the required service on the left pane. The Service Information tab will appear.
Click the Make a Copy icon at the top of the right pane. A pop-up will appear.
Enter a Service Name and choose a Workspace.
Choose a Preferred Meeting Mode if required, then click Make a Copy. This creates a new service in the chosen workspace.
All the settings such as Service Availability, Notifications, Preferences, Staff assigned, and Booking Form will be copied.
For group booking services, a staff has to be assigned while copying a service.
Sender email configuration and Booking page settings will follow the workspace settings where the service is saved.
Click Services on the Booking menu bar. Select the required service on the left pane. The Service Information tab will appear.
Click the three dotted icon next to Allocated Workspace and select Move to. A pop-up will appear.
Select the Workspace to move the service to.
Choose a Preferred Meeting Mode if required, then click Move. This moves the service to the chosen workspace.
Preferred meeting mode has to be chosen in both the above cases.
