Adding Group Booking services

Super admins and admins can view and edit this information. Managers can only view this information. Staff members will not have access to this information.
Group booking refers to services that can accommodate multiple customers (up to the specified number) in a single session—for example, a training workshop. 
 
Group bookings can be marked as "recurring" to offer services that are repeated for a specified number of days. A recurring group booking service can be of two types:
  1. Drop In : Use this if your class occurs periodically but each class is a one-time session.
  2. Series : Use this if you’re running a course that spans across multiple classes. Like a crash course containing five lessons. 
To add a Group Booking service:
  1. Click Services in the top-left corner. 



2. Click Add New Service.




3. 'One on One' is selected by default. Select Group Booking and enter the following details: 
    1. Workspace - The name of the workspace that the service will be associated with. Settings of the selected workspace will be applied to the service.

    2. Name of the Service - Provide a name for this service. This field accepts a maximum of 50 characters.

    3. Date and Time - Specify the date and time of the service.

    4. Duration - Select the service duration.

    5. No. of Seats - Number of bookings that can be accepted per session—in other words, per date.

    6. Repeat - Check this box if the service (or session) will be repeated or will span over a number of days.


  1. Select "Booking Type" as Drop In if this service will be repeated. This means customers will ideally book for only one date, because rest of the dates will be a repeat of the same session.

    Select "Booking Type" as Series if this service will be offered in parts and will span multiple days. This means each booking will take place for a specified number of days.

  2. Set "Repeat" to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly based on your requirement.


  1. When set to "Weekly," you can choose which days of the week the service will be offered every week.



  2. When set to "Monthly," you can choose one of the following:
  1. Days - Select the days on which the service will be repeated. Additionally, you can also select the weeks to which the selected days will apply.

     

  2. On the - You can select the nth day of the month on which the service will be repeated (for example, first Sunday of every month).



  3. Date - You can select the dates of the month on which the service will be repeated.


  1. Set "Repeat Until" to a fixed number of classes or a date. For example Repeat Until 5 classes, or Repeat Until 03-Feb-2020.


  1. Price - Set a price by toggling this setting to "Paid" and enter the amount.
Notes
The Price field is only to specify the fee per appointment. The 'Type Of Payment' can be defined in Service details section to make the payment 'optional', 'full payment', or 'deposit'. Furthermore, the 'Online Payments' setting in the Payments section must be enabled in order to collect online payments. 
  1. Staff Assigned - Assign one or more staff members for this service. 
Notes
A service can be created without associating any staff member to it, however the booking page of these services will display a message: "Sorry, we're closed." A service must have at least one associated staff member to accept bookings.

         3. Click Save.
           
 
The service gets created, and you will be taken to the Services pages. All the services that you add will be listed in the Services section.
 
Services can be created from other places in your account as listed below:
  1. To create a service from the Services section, click the + icon at the top left near the Services section.



  2. To create a service from the Workspaces section, navigate to Workspaces, select the required workspace, then click Services. Next, click Add New Service in the top-right corner.



  3. A service can also be created from the home page by clicking the + icon in the top-right corner, then selecting Service from the drop-down.

This really isn’t what I wanted. I want to create a recurring appointmtnt that happens quarterly for clients. I want the staff accountant assigned to the account to be aware of the meeting. I want both to be able to confirm the meeting when the email reminder is sent.

Yes, you can provide a link to the workspace that outlines all the subsequent services for booking (so they may be one-to-one services, group bookings and so on) or you can also provide a link to the service directly.

You can also provide booking links for the staff which displays all the services assigned to that particular staff member.

Equally, all of the booking options above can be embedded and displayed on a page by Iframe/HTML&CSS and so on.

You can set recurring group booking while creating the group booking service. Please note that one on one recurring service will be rolled out soon. Confirmation upon email notification is under our roadmap.

Currently, adding an online meeting link for group booking service is not available. We'll consider this to add in the future.
