Staff Properties

Super admins and admins can view and edit this information. Managers can only view this information. Staff will not have access to this information.
Staff information can be viewed and edited from the Staff section. 

To access the Staff section:
  1. Click the Manage Business icon  in the top-right corner of menu panel.



  2. Click Staff under BASIC SETUP.



  3. All staff members in your account will be listed in this section. Click a staff to view or edit their details.

Staff information and related configurations are available under the following tabs:
  1. Staff Information
  2. Working Hours
  3. Assigned Services
  4. Staff Booking URL
  5. Booking Page Settings
  6. Embed as Widget

Staff Information

  1. All details can be edited except the email address.

  2. Designation and Role are different in that roles come with different sets of permissions, while the designation is simply an official title for the staff.

  3. Marking the Status - 'Inactive' will prevent customers from booking appointments with the staff.


Working Hours

  1. Customize Working Hours
  1. Check "Customize working hours" to set working hours for the staff that are different from the usual working hours.



  2. On the "Edit Working Hours" page, choose the time zone from which the staff is operating. Set the new working hours and then click Save.
    Staff Time Zone: The time zone from the General tab is chosen as the default time zone for a staff. This allows staff working under different geographies to provide services during their available times.


  3. The customized working hours will be displayed, which can be edited again if required.


  1. Special Working Hours
  1. To add special working hours—for example weekend working hours—click ADD.



  2. On the next screen, enable "All-day availability" and select the From and To dates, or disable "All-day Availability" and select the From and To date/times. Enabling "All-day availability" will release all time slots for the entire day of the selected dates. Click Save.



  3. The hours added by you will be listed and can be edited or deleted if required.


  1. Time Off
  1. To block slots or to add Time Off hours for the selected staff, click ADD.



  2. "Time Off" lets you specify the From and To dates. "Block Time" is to specify a single date. Enable "All-day Unavailability" and select the From and To dates, or disable "All-day Unavailability" and select the From and To date-times. Enabling "All-day Unavailability" will block all time slots for the entire day of the selected dates. Click Save.



  3. The hours added by you will be listed and can be edited or deleted if required.



  4. Block Times will not be listed here and will instead be displayed in the calendar.

Staff Time Zone

Assigned Services

  1. This section displays the services assigned to the selected staff.

  2. To assign more services, click Assign New Services, then select the services that need to be assigned.


Group booking services assigned to different staff will not be listed in the drop-down since Group Bookings can only have one staff member assigned to them. To assign a different staff member to a Group Booking service, navigate to Group Bookings section.

Staff Booking URL

  1. This section displays the URL with which users can book the services offered by the selected staff. The last segment of the URL can be customized by clicking Customize.



  2. You can also use a custom domain for the booking URL.

Booking Page Settings

  1. Set a Title and a Description for the Staff Booking Page. The fields can be edited or hidden as needed.



  2. The Title and Description will appear in the Booking Page as shown below.


Embed as Widget

  1. Embed the staff booking page in your website using the iframe snippet, which is available by default for every staff you add.


Note: The number of staff that can be added is governed by the subscription plan that users hold with Zoho Bookings.
