Staff Working Hours


Bookings check the availability from the listed working hours and displays the slots in the booking page. By default, a staff member's working hours will be the same as the business hours. An admin can customize working hours, add additional availability, add time off, and block time.

 

Edit staff working hours    

Super admins and admins can edit staff working hours.
Managers can only view it.  
Staff cannot edit their working hours. They can add their special working hours and unavailability under My Profile > Working Hours.

  1. Click Staff on the menu bar.

  2. Select the required staff from the left sidebar.

  3. Click Working Hours on the middle pane.

  4. Select the checkbox Customize working hours to edit staff working hours.

  5. On the Edit Working Hours page, set the new working hours.

    • You can select or deselect the checkbox to include or remove a day, respectively.

    • You can change the hours for a single day and select Apply to All to have it reflected for all days.

  1. Select the required time zone if you are working in a different time zone than the business.

  2. Click Save.

  3. The customized working hours will be displayed. The set hours can be edited further using the Edit button.



 

Idea : To add a break time/lunch time, select the + icon and edit the available hours. For example, 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm.

Only admins can edit the working hours of a staff. Staff and Managers cannot edit their working hours.

   

Reset working hours to default   

Deselect the Customize working hours checkbox to reset the working hours to default.

 

Super admin and admins can add special working hours and unavailability.
Managers can only view it.
Staff

My Profile > Working Hours 

Add special working hours   

Admins can add extra available days/time in addition to the usual working hours for staff here. This is useful for weekends or any additional available time, such as special offers, extended hours to keep up with demand, and more.
  1. Click Add in the Special Working Hours section.

  2. Choose whether to enable All-day Availability.

    • If All-day Availability is Enabled, you can select a date range and all the time slots will be opened for the entire day ignoring the usual working hours.

    • If All-day Availability is Disabled, you can select a date range along with time and slots will be opened only for the selected time.

  1. Choose From and To dates.

  2. Click Save.

The hours added will be listed and can be edited or deleted if required using the respective buttons.

  



Add unavailability   

Admins can add a staff's unavailable days/hours other than the usual working hours here. This can be useful for vacation, leave, or any unexpected work.

  1. Click Add in the Unavailability section.

  2. Select Time Off to choose multiple days. Select Block Time to choose a single date.

  3. Choose whether to enable All-day Unavailability.

    • If All-day Unavailability is Enabled, you can only choose days.

    • If All-day Unavailability is Disabled, you can choose days along with time.

  1. Enter a Reason.

  2. Click Save.

The added hours will be listed. The set hours can be edited or deleted if required, using the respective buttons.
