Your booking page might not accept appointments for any of the following reasons:
The workspace that houses the service is marked inactive.
The service for which the appointment is attempted is marked inactive.
The staff is marked inactive or has been removed from Bookings.
The resource for which the appointment is attempted is marked inactive.
In short, if workspace/service/staff member/resource is marked inactive, its respective booking page will show this error message.
If the workspace is marked inactive, then the respective workspace booking page will show the above error message.
Solution
Navigate to the Settings icon in the Bookings menu bar, then click Workspaces.
Choose the required workspace in the left pane and select Basic Information.
Set the toggle Status to Active.
You need to activate each service after activating the workspace. This can be performed under Services > Service Information > Status.
Reason
If the service is marked inactive, then the respective service booking page will show the above error message.
Solution
Click Services on the Bookings menu bar, then select the required services on the left pane.
Select Service Information on the middle pane and scroll down to Status in the right pane.
Set the toggle Status to Active.
Reason
If the staff member assigned for the service is marked inactive or deleted from the Bookings org, and if you are accessing that specific staff's booking page, then this message will be shown.
Solution
If the staff is marked as inactive, then navigate to Staff in the menu bar > Staff Information > Status and set the Status toggle to Active.
If the staff member was removed from your Bookings org:
Remove the staff booking page if it is embedded in your website.
If you are trying to book the service that the staff was assigned to, please use the service booking page instead of the staff booking page.
If a service had only one staff member assigned and they were deleted, then it will show the above error message in the booking page. To resolve this, you need to assign any other staff to the service.
Navigate to Services > Required service > Staff Assigned > Edit and add any other required staff.
Reason
If the resource assigned for the service is inactive, then the respective resource booking page will show a "not accepting appointments" message.
Solution
You can activate the resource to access its booking page.
Click the Settings icon in the Bookings menu bar, then select Resources.
Select the required resource at the left pane, then click Resource Information in the middle pane.
Set the Status toggle to Active.
