Zoho Vault is an online password manager for teams. If you are struggling with remembering numerous passwords, Zoho Vault can keep them safe for you. It helps to store, share, and manage your passwords from anywhere. Zoho Vault is the best way to share sensitive information securely.

The Zoho Vault extension for Zoho Bugtracker enables you to share passwords with your contacts and third-parties while using different levels of access permissions. All you need to do is enter your Zoho Vault master password to access your passwords and other confidential data inside Zoho Bugtracker.

Installing the extension

The Zoho Vault for Zoho Bugtracker extension can be installed either from the Zoho Marketplace or from within the Zoho Bugtracker account.

To install the extension:
  1. Navigate to  > Marketplace > All.
  2. Search for and click on Zoho Vault for Zoho Bugtracker extension.
  3. Click Install.
  4. Agree to the terms of service and click Install.
  5. Under the General section, select the profiles, projects, and users you want the extension to be shared with or given access to.

  6. Agree to the terms of use.
  7. Click Install Extension.

  8. Under the Connections section, click Authorize.
  9. Sign in with your Zoho credentials.
  10. Click Accept to authorize Zoho Vault.

Accessing the extension

Once installed, the extension can be accessed from the top band of the Zoho Bugtracker.
  1. In the top band, click the  Extensions icon.
  2. Select Zoho Vault for Zoho Bugtracker from the list of installed extensions.
  3. Enter your Zoho Vault's master password and click Access Zoho Vault.

    The Passwords List from your Zoho Vault will be displayed.

Managing Passwords

While hovering over the passwords in the Passwords List, you will be able to view either or all of the three icons, based on the provisions given while creating the password.
  1. Click  to redirect to the URL provided for the password.
  2. Click  to view the password details.

  3. Click  to share the password.

  4. On clicking, select the Project, the User, and the Share Type. Click Share.
If the selected user exists in your organization, the password will get shared directly to their Vault account. If not, you will get an Encryption Key pop-up, which has to be shared with the user manually.

Uninstalling the extension

You may wish to uninstall the extension whenever it is no longer needed.

To uninstall the extension:
  1. Navigate to  > Marketplace > All.
  2. Click Installed.
    You will be taken to the installed extensions list page.
  3. Click on the Zoho Vault for Zoho Bugtracker extension.
  4. Click Uninstall.
    A pop-up will be shown.
  5. Click Uninstall Extension.
