Web To Bug Form

Capturing bugs from various sources can help users stay on top of them. Clients can report bugs from their websites with the simple to use Web to Bug Form. The form can be embedded on their business website and capture all the information relevant to the bug. 

  1. Navigate to > Bug Tracker and select Web To Bug Form.
  2. Click Add Web to Bug Form button to open the form.
  3. Select a project to submit bugs to.
  4. Enter a Form Name. 
  5. Enter a Return URL. Users will be redirected to this page after they submit the form.
  6. Enter the Form/Web page Url where the form is to be hosted.
  7. Select a default Flag for the bug.
  8. Select the fields that need to be captured. Move the field from Selected to Available column.
  9. Select the custom fields if available. Only fields for which the access permission is set to All Users (this permission can be granted when adding custom field to the bug Layout) will be available in the web to bug form.
  10. Check the Include Captcha to the form option for added security.
  11. Click Generate Form.
  12. Copy the code and embed it in your website to host the Web To Issue Form.
    Source HTML: This option helps create a complete webpage.
    Embed: This option helps to embed the bug form in an existing webpage.
    iFrame: Use this option to get an iFrame to host on your webpage.
  13. When users fill this form and submit it on the website, the details are captured and filed as a bug in Zoho BugTracker
