Collaborate and Co-manage

In Zoho Calendar, You can allow your colleagues or team members to be a co-organizer for the events you create. You can also have intuitive conversations via chats and comments for contextual communication.

Change Event Organizer

You can change the event organizer of the events that you have created if required. When you change the event organizer, the event ownership will be transferred to the respective person.

Steps to change an event organizer

  1. Log in to Zoho Calendar.
  2. Click on the event that you have created and view/ edit the event.

  3. Go to Event info from the right corner of the View event/ Edit event tab and click Change next to Organizer.

  4. In the Change Organizer dialog box, enter the new organizer email address and a message if required.
  5. Check the Include me as attendee check-box if you want to attend the meeting as an attendee.
  6. Click Change. An email will be sent to the new organizer to accept the change.
  7. Once the new organizer clicks Accept, the event ownership will be transferred to the new organizer.

Chat about an event

You can chat about an event with the participants and also the non-participants from within your organization.

Steps to Start a chat about an event:

  1. Log in to Zoho Calendar.
  2. Click on the event about which you want to chat about from your calendar.
  3. Click the Edit/ Event info icon on the top of the Quick view pop-up.

  4. Click on the Start Chat icon on the top of the View event/ Edit event tab.

  5. Start new chat pop-up will be opened. You can edit and change the title of the chat by clicking the Title field.
  6. You can add participants by typing their Email address in the Participants field.
  7. Click Start chat.
  8. A Cliq chat box will appear with the event title and the participants added by you.
Chat can be created only with the members of your organization.

Comment on an event

You can comment on an event created by you or your colleague.

Steps to comment on an event:

  1. Log in to Zoho Calendar.
  2. Click on the event on which you want to comment on.
  3. Click the Edit/ Event info icon on the quick-view pop-up. A Edit event/ View event tab will be opened.

  4. Click on the Comments icon on the top of the Edit event/ View event tab.

  5. Type the comment and add emojis to your comment in the comment box. Click on the Attachment icon below the comment box and add attachments from your computer.

  6. Click the Comment button to save your comment. 
Hover the cursor over your comment and click the Delete icon to remove your comment.
