This doc walks you through:

• Setting the campaign context so Zia's drafts stay relevant to what you're sending

• Generating a text header for a WhatsApp marketing or utility template

• Generating the message body

• Reworking content Zia already generated, or content you wrote yourself

What is Zia AI content generation  

Zia is the AI assistant built into Zoho Campaigns. Instead of writing a WhatsApp header or body from scratch, you describe what you want to convey and Zia drafts it in the language you've set for the template.

To use Zia, an admin needs to enable an AI model for your organization first. See setting up Zia AI in Zoho Campaigns for that part. Once a model is active, the Zia AI icon appears on the text header and body fields in the WhatsApp template builder.

Setting the campaign context  

Campaign context is the background Zia uses before it writes anything: your offer, your audience, a deadline, or anything relevant to the message. It doesn't carry over to a different campaign.

1. In the Zia AI content generation pop-up, click + Campaign Context in the top-right corner. For Utility templates click + Message Context.

2. In the Campaign Context / Message Context dialog, describe the campaign/ message in a few sentences.

3. Click Save.

Once it's saved, that button becomes a View Context on every generation surface for the campaign. Click it to review, edit, or delete the context at any point. Generations after an edit reflect the update; content Zia already produced stays as it is.

Generating a WhatsApp header  

WhatsApp templates support several header types, None, Text, Image, Video, Document, and Location, but Zia only generates content for the Text header type.

1. In the template builder, select Text as the header type.

2. Click the Zia AI icon at the right end of the header field.

3. In the Generate with Zia pop-up, add campaign context if it isn't set yet, then describe what the header should say.

4. Click Generate.

Zia drafts the header in a language you've selected for the template. From the results pop-up you can:

• Adjust Tone

• Adjust Length, within the field's character limit

• Click Simplify to lower the reading level

• Click Edit Prompt to change your instructions and regenerate

• Click the regenerate icon for another draft from the same prompt

Click Insert to drop the result into the header field.

Reworking a header you wrote manually  

If you typed the header yourself and want Zia's help improving it, click the Zia AI icon on the field. This opens a dropdown of rework options instead of a blank prompt:

1. Rephrase. Rewrites the content without changing what it says.

2. Change Tone. For Marketing templates: Conversational, Enthusiastic, Exclusive, or Formal. For Utility templates: Clear, Reassuring, Empathetic, or Graceful.

3. Length. Shortens or lengthens the content within the field's limit.

4. Simplify. Lowers the reading grade.

5. Fix Grammar. Corrects grammar and punctuation.

6. Translate to. Translates the content into another language.

7. Rewrite. Regenerates the entire content with AI.

Generating the WhatsApp body  

The body is where most of your message lives, and it works the same way as the header.

1. Click the Zia AI icon in the formatting bar of the Body Content text box.

2. In the Generate with Zia pop-up, add instructions and campaign context, if not already set.

3. Click Generate.

Zia writes the body in the language selected for the template. As with the header, you get Tone, Length, Simplify, and the regenerate icon before you insert.

Note: Zia can insert merge tags like @First Name into the generated body when your instructions call for personalization.

To rework body content you wrote by hand, click the Zia AI icon and choose from the same seven options as the header: Rephrase, Change Tone, Length, Simplify, Fix Grammar, Translate to, and Rewrite.
