What if I do not want to auto upgrade my plan?

Before we auto-upgrade to complete a manual import of contacts, we will inform you the current state and let you choose if you want to auto-upgrade and proceed or if you want to skip the auto upgrade. You can choose to skip the auto upgrade.

If you're importing contacts via API or any of the sync services, then you can check the potential number of contacts that are to be imported and your current contact limit before you start to import, to avoid the auto upgrade.

What is auto-billing?

When you try to import, sync, or add contacts more than the current subscription plan limit, we will move you to the next plan based on the contact count in the file. This change will be reflected in the next billing cycle.

Notes
Note: This is not applicable for users in free or pay-as-you-go plans.

What happens when I reach the contact limit in my current plan?

Here is what happens when you reach the contact limit on your current subscription plan:

Import contacts via sync

  1. If you've enabled the Auto-upgrade option under Settings, Zoho Campaigns automatically upgrades your subscription, allowing you to import contacts via a sync you've created. The upgrade will be based on the number of contacts you are trying to import.

  2. In case you haven’t enabled the Auto-upgrade option under Settings, the sync will stop, and no additional contacts will be imported to Zoho Campaigns upon reaching the contact limit.

Import contacts via files

  1. If you try to import contacts via .csv, .xls, and .xslsx files after the plan limit is reached, you'll be asked for consent each time you try to import the contact. If you give your consent, we will upgrade your plan before importing the contacts.

Notes

Note:
The charges will be added up to your next billing cycle.
