As published on the WooCommerce website, "For
WooCommerce stores started after the release of version 8.3 in November
2023, the Cart and Checkout blocks are the default experience, no setup
is required to put the cart and checkout blocks in place."
What are blocks and how does it affect Zoho Campaigns?
Blocks
are individual pieces of elements that are part of the overall layout
and functionality of a webpage. They comprise of images, videos, and
texts that can be customized with a website's editor. Blocks let you
customize and simplify your webpage, and make the customer see what you
want them to see, including the cart and checkout pages. They are additional features introduced to simplify web design, and not a default part of a website.
These
blocks which were previously an add on plugin that had to be installed
separately, and now been integrated into WooCommerce itself. This might
cause compatibility issues with the Campaigns Plugin and
prevents actions triggered from plugin code from functioning properly.
Therefore, the checkout and opt-in features might not work when the
WooCommerce Blocks are turned on.
