Category Section

You can now display a particular category of products on your online store using a category section. Use this to highlight or give prominence to your best-selling category. You can either display all the products in the category in one go or display them as a slider. Use the slider to move your products horizontally. 


Add a category section

  1. Open Site Builder, go to the  icon and select Category.
  2. Select an existing category from the list available.
Note: you must have already added categories and products for it to be visible here

Edit the category section

The category will be displayed on your website. By default, all your products in the category will be shown. To convert the section into a slider:
Click the Element Property Box [] icon beside the category element, then enable the Filmstrip toggle.


Once the Filmstrip is enabled, new options will be displayed.

  1. Count:  Number of products displayed in the category slider at a time.

  2. Gutter Space: The gap between two or more products that are displayed within the slider.

  3. Show Heading : Display the category name.

  4. Show View All Button: Display a View All button below your category.

  5. Arrow Position: Positions the arrow around the Top, Middle, or Bottom of your category.

  6. Arrow Outward: Display arrows outside the product boundaries.

  7. Arrow Outer Design: Design around the arrow.
