1.What should I do if I have lost access to my user account?
In the event you lose access to your user account, you must contact the administrator of your organization to retrieve access to your user account.
2.What should I do if I have lost access to my administrator account?
In the event you lose access to your administrator account, you can follow the process, if any, as agreed to between you and Zoho, as outlined in "Organization Accounts and Administrators" section of
Terms of Service.
In the absence of an agreed process, you can initiate the account recovery process by following the steps outlined below:
- You will need to send an email to the support email address of the respective Zoho service to which you are seeking administrator account access, by copying all the users (both active users and recently deleted inactive users, if any) and the administrators of the relevant organization account. If the organization has a super-administrator, it is imperative that you also copy the super-administrator in the email sent to Zoho. This email is intended to notify the users and the administrators about your request for administrator access and provide them an opportunity to raise objections, if any.
- If you are a paid user, you will be requested to submit payment related proof(s), including but not limited to the last four digits of the credit card associated with the relevant administrator account, invoices received from Zoho and receipts of payment.
- You will also be requested to point the domain name of the respective organization account (if applicable), for verification of the domain name.
In the absence of an agreed process, we will grant you access to the administrator account only after you fulfill the steps outlined above and provided that the proofs you submit are satisfactory to us.
3.What should I do if I have lost access to my super-administrator account?
Follow the steps outlined in response to question 2, with the exception of copying all the users of the respective organization account under 2(i).Instead, copy the administrators of the respective organization account.
4.What should I do if I have lost access to my super-administrator account for bundled services like Zoho One or Zoho CRM Plus?
Follow the steps outlined in the response to question 2, with the exception of copying all the users and administrators of the relevant organization account under 2(i). Instead, copy the administrators of each individual service within the bundled service.
For example, if you have lost super-administrator access to your Zoho One account, you will be requested to send us an email copying the administrators of each individual service such as Zoho Mail, Zoho Cliq and Zoho CRM within the Zoho One bundle.
5.When will we declare an account dispute as an "internal dispute"?
- In the event two or more parties claim the same level of access to an organization account and all the parties involved submit the same set of proofs, we will declare the dispute as an "internal dispute" and request the parties to resolve the dispute among themselves.
- Once the involved parties have resolved the dispute among themselves, they must send us an email stating the party to whom access has to be provided for the organization account.
- If the parties are unable to resolve the issue among themselves, we will require either of the involved parties to bring a declaratory court order from an appropriate court of law. It is important to note that Zoho must not be included as one of the parties to the court order.
- The court order has to clearly state the Zoho User Identifier (ZUID) and the email address for which Zoho has to provide access.
6.If my organization account has too many users, should I copy all of the users?
You are required to copy at least two-thirds of the users in your organization.
7.What process will Zoho follow if you request administrator access to an organization account to which you do not belong?
- We will require you to send an email to the support email address of the respective Zoho service to which you are seeking administrator account access,.In this email, you will need to copy any active user of the relevant organization account ("Active User").
- We will then require that Active User to send us an email copying the rest of the users (both active users and recently deleted inactive users, if any) of the organization account.
- This email is intended to notify the rest of the users about your request for administrator access and provide them an opportunity to raise objections, if any.
- If no objection is received within seven days, we will grant the Active User administrator access to the organization account.
- After receiving administrator access, the Active User may further provide you with administrator access to the organization account.
