Turn off the private conversation option in your network

Overview

By default, users can start private conversation with specific members or groups. If the network admin wants to disable this feature, they can do so using policies.

How to turn off the private conversation option in a network? 

  1. Click the gear icon  from the menu in the right.
  2. From the dropdown, select Settings.
           
  1. In the settings page, click One-on-one conversations and Channels under Policies. 
           
  1. Scroll to "Can members start private conversations?" and select the option 'No'.
