GitHub Integration with Zoho Connect

Overview
Integrating GitHub with Zoho Connect helps your team stay updated on code changes, pull requests, and issues within your Connect groups.
 

What can you do with this integration  ?

  • Get real-time updates from GitHub in the linked group
  • Stay informed about commits, issues, pull requests, and comments
  • Collaborate better by discussing code-related updates directly with the team

 

How to integrate GitHub with Zoho Connect  

  1. Go to Integrations from the right menu.



  2. Select GitHub from the list.



  3. Click Add Configuration or Configure.



  4. Select Authenticate your GitHub account.



  5. On the redirected page, log in to your GitHub account.
  6. Choose the group where you want to receive updates, give the integration a name, and add an icon (optional).



  7. Select repositories and branches (optional) you want to integrate GitHub with.
    Info: You can choose up to five repositories in each configuration.
  8. Pick from the list of GitHub events you’d like to get notified about, such as:
    • Commit events:
      • Comments on commits
      • Commits to file change
    • Pull request / Issue events:
      • Comments on issues or pull requests
      • Any updates on issues or pull requests
      • Comments on pull request diffs
    • Other events:
      • Created or deleted a branch/tag
      • Forked the repository
      • Wiki page updates
      • Someone stars the repository



        You also have the option to enable a file filter based on the file name.
  1. When you're done, click Save.
Once the setup is over, you can view GitHub updates in the linked group's feed so that your team members can comment and discuss them with each other.

How to edit GitHub integration

  1. Go to Integrations from the right menu.



  2. Select GitHub from the list.



  3. Select any of the configurations from the My Configurations list.



  4. Make changes to the integration, then click Save to apply those changes.
 

How to enable/disable the GitHub integration

  1. Go to Integrations and select GitHub.
  2. Select the configuration you'd like to enable/disable.
  3. Use the toggle button to enable/disable the configuration.



How to delete the GitHub integration

  1. Go to Integrations and select GitHub.
  2. Select the configuration you'd like to delete.
  3. Click the Trash icon at the top-right corner to remove the integration.
