System Widgets in Dashboard

Feature Availability

Overview

Zoho Connect has 40 system widgets so that every important information from the network is available on the Dashboard. This document lists all the available system widgets along with a brief explanation.

My Tasks

This widget lists tasks a user created either privately or through a Board, as well as the tasks assigned to the user. The tasks are listed in the following order: overdue tasks, tasks with an upcoming deadline, and tasks without any deadlines. 

Private Tasks

This widget lists the tasks created by the user and the tasks assigned to the user privately. The tasks are listed in the following order: overdue tasks, tasks with an upcoming deadline, and tasks without any deadlines. 

All Tasks

This widget lists tasks from all Boards the user belongs to. This does not include the tasks created or assigned privately. The tasks are listed in the following order: overdue tasks, tasks with an upcoming deadline, and tasks without any deadlines. 

My Checklists

This widget gives a consolidated view of all the checklist items assigned to the user based on their due date with the ones due soon on the top. 

My Groups

This widget lists all the Groups (public and private) the user belongs to. This includes the Groups in which the user is an admin or a member. 

Public Groups 

This widget displays the list of all public Groups created in the network. 

Favorite Groups 

This widget lists the Groups the user has marked as favorites. 

Recent Forum Posts

This widget lists the forum posts recently shared in the network. This includes forum posts from all categories, including the categories which are not followed by the user. 

Most Liked Posts 

This widget lists the forum posts with the maximum number of likes in the network. 

Most Discussed Posts

This widget displays the list of forum posts with the maximum number of comments. 

Top Posts

This widget lists the forum posts with the maximum activity. 

Bookmarked Forums 

This widget lists the forum posts that the user has bookmarked.

My Forum Drafts

This widget lists the forum posts drafted by the user and not published yet. 

My Forums

This widget lists the forum posts shared by the user. 

Top Authors

This widget lists the names of users who have shared the maximum number of forum posts in the last 30 days. 

Most Followed Categories

This widget lists the forum categories with the most number of followers in the network.

Posts by Category

This widget lists the forum posts shared in specific categories chosen by the network admin. The categories are chosen while adding the widget to the Dashboard. To add this widget and select a category: 
  1. Make sure you are in the Dashboard's edit mode.
  2. Switch to the System widgets tab.
  3. Click 🔽 next to Forums.

  4. Navigate to the Posts by Category widget and drag and drop it to the required position on the Dashboard.

  5. Click 🔽 in the right-end of the 'Choose Category' input box. A dropdown menu will list all the forum categories.
  6. Use the checkboxes next to the category name to display posts from it in the widget.

  7. In the Display Limit field, select the number of posts you'd like to be displayed in the widget.

If you've selected carousel view for this widget, choose whether you'd like to display images from the post in the widget. 

All Events

This widget displays the list of all events the user is a part of either as an invitee, host, or assistant.    

Company Events

This widget lists the events created at the network-level. 

Private Events

The following events will be displayed in the private events widget:
  1. Events that the user has created for themselves or a specific set of people.
  2. Events that are created privately by other members and the user is invited to.
  3. Events from groups that the user is not a member of, but invited to.

Upcoming Events

This widget lists the upcoming events the user is a part of either as a host, assistant, or participant. 

Zoho Calendar events

This widget lists the events created in the Zoho Calendar. You can sort the events in two ways: upcoming and completed.

Favorite Manuals

This widget displays all Manuals the user has added to their favorites list. 
Following Manuals
This widget displays all Manuals the user has been following to stay updated on its recent activities. 

Shared Articles

This widget displays the articles that are shared with the user from manuals they don't belong to. 

Company Manuals

This widget displays all the Manuals that are available at the organization level. 
This widget displays everything listed under the featured sections in the Manuals tab.

Most Viewed Articles

This widget lists the published articles based on their views count.


Town Hall

This widget displays the list of all Town Hall sessions created in the network. This included the ongoing sessions, completed sessions, and upcoming sessions. While adding the Town Hall widget, the admin has to choose which type of session should be shown by default. To do this: 
  1. Make sure you are in the Dashboard's edit mode.
  2. Switch to the System widgets tab.

  3. Click 🔽 next to Town Halls.
  4. Drag and drop the Town Hall widget to the required position on the Dashboard.
  5. In the edit menu, click 🔽 on the right-end of the Default View field.
  6. Select the required session from the dropdown.

Once the default view is set and the Dashboard is published, members can switch between different sessions using the dropdown option available within the widget. 

All Surveys

This widget displays surveys available for the users.  The list also includes the surveys the user has already completed. 

Company Surveys

This widget lists the surveys that are created and shared with the entire network. 

Department Members

This widget displays the list of members working in the user's team or department.

Direct Reports

This widget displays the list of members directly reporting to the user.

New Hires

This widget displays the names of members who have joined the organization in the selected time frame. The time frame to display members should be selected while adding the widget. To do this: 
  1. Make sure you are in the Dashboard's edit mode.
  2. Switch to the System widgets tab.

  3. Click 🔽 next to Members.
  4. Navigate to the New Hires widget, drag and drop it to the required position on the Dashboard.
  5. In the edit menu, click 🔽  on the right-end of the Time Frame field.
  6. Select the required time range from the dropdown.

Announcements

This widget displays the announcement posts from various Groups the user is a part of and the company wall. 

Recent Feeds

This widget displays posts and updates from different groups the user belongs to. 

Polls

This widget displays the list of polls that are currently available for voting. It includes polls shared as posts from different groups the user belongs to. 

Birthday Buddies

This widget displays the list of users who are celebrating their birthday today. 

Work Anniversary

This widget displays the list of users who are celebrating their work anniversary today. The work anniversary is based on the date the user has joined the network. 

Top Scorers

This widget displays the list of users who have earned the maximum number of points in the network. 

Your Achievement

This widget displays the list of badges the user has received.

Top Badge Holders

This widget displays the list of users who have earned the maximum number of badges in the network. 

Attendance

This widget displays whether the user has checked in from the day. It includes the time of check-in and check-out and user's current status (in/out). This widget is only available when the network has an integration with Zoho People.
