Events are a great way to keep track of all your appointments in one place.
Who can create events?
Depending on the permissions set by the admin, a member may or may not be able to create Events at the group and network levels.
How to create an event?
- Click Events from the menu in the left.
- The Calendar view opens.
- Click the date to create an Event. In the form, enter the event name, the timings, description, location, and add invitees.
- You can add the short URL from Google Maps in the location field.
- You can add individual users and invitees and choose to share this event in a group or the network wall, or privately with the invited members alone.
- Once done, click Create.
- Invites will be sent out to members and the members will be notified so they can RSVP for the event. RSVP can be done directly from the notification email sent to users.
You can attach files from your desktop to your event. The maximum file size per attachment is 30 MB.
Events can also be created from the My Feed page, by clicking the calendar icon, on top of the post editor.
