Managing and organizing Files

Overview
As a Network Admin or Group Admin, you can manage files at the respective Network or Group level. This includes sorting, duplicating, deleting, restoring, and organizing files to ensure the Files section stays structured and easy to navigate.
Notes
This guide is intended for users who configured Files before March 11, 2026.

Sort files & folders and switch view

You can sort files to quickly locate what you need.
  1. Open Files from the left main menu.
  2. Select Company Files or a Group Files from the left extended menu.



  3. Click the View By in the top-right side.



  4. In the dropdown, use the available sorting options to arrange files by name, kind, and last modified.

InfoYou can switch between List view and Tile view in the same drop-down.


Duplicate a file/folder

Duplicating allows you to create a copy of an existing file/folder for reuse or modification.
To duplicate a file/folder,
  1. Open Files from the left main menu.
  2. Select Company Files or a Group Files from the left extended menu.



  3. Select the file/folder you'd like to duplicate and click More on top.
  4. Click Duplicate from the dropdown to create a copy of the file in the same location.



    Alternatively, right click on the selected files and select Duplicate from the dropdown.


Download a file/folder

You can download files or folders to your local storage whenever you need.
To download a file/folder,
  1. Open Files from the left main menu.
  2. Select Company Files or a Group Files from the left extended menu.



  3. Select the file/folder you'd like to download and click More on top.
  4. Select Download from the dropdown.



    Alternatively, right click on the selected files and click Download from the dropdown.

 

Delete a file/folder  

You can remove files or folders that are no longer needed.
To delete a file/folder:
  1. Open Files from the left main menu.
  2. Select Company Files or a Group Files from the left extended menu.



  3. Select the file/folder you'd like to delete and click the trash icon on top.



  4. In the pop-up, select Move to Trash.



    Alternatively, right click on the selected files and click Move to Trash from the dropdown.



    The selected items will be moved to the trash.

 

Restore a deleted file/folder  

If a file or folder is deleted by mistake, you can restore it from the trash anytime.
To restore a deleted file/folder:
  1. Open Files from the left main menu.
  2. Select Company Files or a Group Files from the left extended menu.
  3. Click Trash at the bottom.



  4. Select the files/folders you'd like to restore and select Put Back in the top-left side.



    Alternatively, right click on the selected files and click Put Back from the dropdown.



    Restored files will move to their original location before deletion.

 

To delete the file/folder forever,

  1. Go to Trash.
  2. Select preferred files and click Delete Forever on top.


    Alternatively, right click on the selected files and click Delete Forever from the drop down.



  3. In the pop-up, select Delete.

 

To empty trash,

  1. Go to Trash.
  2. Click Empty Trash on top.



  3. In the pop-up, select Empty Trash.

 

Add a file or folder to Favorites  

Mark frequently used items for quick access.
To add a file/folder to favorites,
  1. Open Files from the left main menu.
  2. Select Company Files or a Group Files from the left extended menu.



  3. Select the file/folder you'd like to add to favorites.

  4. Click the star icon on top.



    Alternatively, right click on the selected files and click Download from the dropdown.

Once marked, the file or folder will appear in the Favorites section.
