Overview

Zoho Connects enables you to reset the points earned by all users in the network to zero in a few quick and easy steps. This is useful if you have finished testing Gamification points or have just started a new quarter and want everyone to start again from 0 points.

Who can reset the Gamification points to zero?  

Only the network admins and members with custom roles containing edit permission for Gamification can reset the points to zero. 

How do I manually reset the Gamification points to zero?

  1. Click the gear icon [] in the right menu.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown.

  3. In the Settings page, select Advanced under Gamification.

  4. In the new page, click Expand next to Manual Reset.
  5. Check the box next to 'I understand this will reset all points network users have earned, and that all progress made in levels will be lost.'
  6. Click Reset points to zero.

How to configure scheduled reset for Gamification points?

The Scheduled Reset option enables you to automatically reset the points earned by all users in this network to zero at specific recurring intervals of your choice.
  1. Click the gear icon [] in the right menu.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown.

  3. In the Settings page, select Advanced under Gamification.
  4. In the new page, click Expand next to Scheduled Reset.
  5. Set the recurring interval.
  6. Click Schedule.

What happens once the Gamification points have been reset?

Upon resetting, points earned by all users in the network, and progress made in levels so far will be lost. Custom badges, levels, and points set for activities will remain unaltered.
