Publishing an article

Overview

You can publish selected articles from your Manuals to the members in it.  The published articles are not visible to the other users (non-members) until the Manual is published. 

Who can publish the articles created in a manual? 

By default, Manual admins and the contributors can publish the articles created in it. However, the admins can choose to restrict contributors from publishing articles. To do this:
  1. Click Manuals in the main menu on the left. 

  2. Navigate to the required Manual. 
  3. Click the ellipsis (…) in the top-right corner of the Manual. 
  4. Select Settings from the dropdown. 

  5. In the Settings page, switch to the Permission tab. 
  6. Navigate to “Who can publish Articles” and select Admins only

How do I publish an article? 

  1. Click Manuals in the main menu on the left. 

  2. Navigate to the required Manual. 
  3. Select the required article from the list. 
  4. Click Publish [...] in the top-right part of the article.
