Overview
Manual admins can choose to restrict contributors from publishing the articles. Once restricted, the contributors can only request to publish an article instead of directly publishing it. Then, the admin can either accept or reject the request from the Moderation tab.
How do I restrict contributors from publishing articles?
- Click Manuals in the main menu on the left.

- Navigate to the required Manual.
- Click the ellipsis (...) in the top-right corner of the Manual.
- Select Settings from the dropdown.

- In the Settings page, switch to the Permission tab.
- Navigate to “Who can publish Articles” and select Admins only.

Once the option is set as Admins only, contributors will see ‘Request to Publish’ in place of the ‘Publish’ option.
Where can I find the publish requests?
Click the flag icon [
] in the right menu.

In the Moderation pop-out, switch to the Articles tab.
Navigate to the required request in the list. You can also use the search tab to filter and view requests made from a particular Manual.
Click Approve or Reject.
