Reviewing articles in a Manual

 

Overview

Make sure people on your network have access to accurate and verified information in Manuals by initiating a review process. To do this, the admin of the Manual needs to enable reviewing.

Who can enable Article Review?

Only the admin of the Manual can enable the review process for the Articles in them.

How to enable Article Review?

  1. Click Manuals from the menu in the left.
  2. Navigate to the Manual where the Articles need review.
  3. Click the ellipses menu in the top-right corner of the Manual.
  4. From the dropdown select Settings.
  5. Click Advanced in the header.
  6. Scroll to the Article Review section and toggle the button to enable it.


How to set up a review process for an Article?

  1. Navigate to the Article to be reviewed.
  2. Click Yet to be Verified, seen below the Article title.



  3. From the dropdown, click Set Verification Reminder.



  4. In the new pop-out, add why you'd like the article to be reviewed and select who should review the article.
  5. Please note that only those who are admins and contributors for the Manual will be able to review articles.


  6. Set a frequency for the review. This could be weekly, monthly or yearly.
  7. This will also send reminders to the people who should review the article.


  8. Once you complete selection, click Create.

How to review an Article?

  1. Click Manuals from the menu in the left.
  2. Click See more from the extended menu in the left.
  3. From the dropdown, select Article Review.

  4. From the list of Articles to be reviewed, click the one you'd like to verify immediately.
  5. In the Article page, after going through the article and making the required changes, click Yet to be Verified.


  6. From the dropdown, click Mark as Verified.



  7. The label on the Article changes to Verified.
