Overview

With Version History, you can see a list of all the previously published versions of an article. This helps in switching to a particular version to view its content and keep track of the changes made. You can also restore the Article to an earlier version if needed.

How do article versions in Zoho Connect work? 

Whenever a contributor updates the content in an article and publishes it, a new version is created.

Who can view the version history? 

Only the Manual owner and contributor can view the version history. 

How do I view the version history of an article? 

  1. Click Manuals in the main menu on the left.
  2. Select the required manual in the extended menu.
  3. Select the required article from the list. 
  4. Click the ellipsis [...] in the top-right part of the article.
  5. Click Version History in the dropdown. The versions will be listed on the right.
     
  6. Use the radio button found next to the version title to switch to it.

How do I restore to the previous version of an article? 

  1. Click Manuals in the main menu on the left.
  2. Select the required manual in the extended menu.
  3. Select the required article from the list. 
  4. Click the ellipsis [...] in the top-right part of the article.
  5. Click Version History in the dropdown. The versions will be listed on the right.
     
  6. Switch to the required version using the radio button.
  7. Use the options at the top of the article to restore or publish the restored version.
