Overview
Instead of creating an Article from scratch, you can use one of our pre-defined Templates if it suits the topic of your article.
How to use an Article template?
- Click Manuals from the menu in the left.
- Open an existing manual or create a new Manual.
- Click Create Article in the top-right side of your Manual.
- Click Pick from Template option, found below the menu bar.

- In the pop-out, select the template of your choice and click the Preview to take a look at the content.

- Once decided, click Use this Template.
- After applying the template, you can make changes to the content to suit your needs.
How to save an existing article as a template and share it?
- Click Manuals from the menu in the left.
- Navigate to the Article you would like to save as a template.
- Click the ellipses
in the top-right part of the Article.
- From the dropdown, select Save as template.

- In the new pop-out, provide a name and select if you would like to include tags and attachments.
- In the same pop-out, select who should have access to the Article template.
- You can choose between only you, all network members or specific users.

- Once you've added the selected users, you can choose if they get read only access or if they can read and edit the template.

- Use the dropdown next to their names to change access or to remove sharing.
- Once done, click Save Template.
How to access a saved template?
- Navigate to the Manual where you need to create a new article.
- Click + New Article in the top-left part of your Manual or the center for a new Manual that does not have any Article.
- In the editor, click Pick from Template.

- In the new pop-out, select Using a template.

- From the list of templates, click Use this template, next to the one you need.
- The content from the template is added to your editor and you can continue working on the Article.
