Code Editor in Manuals

Overview

The Code editor in Manuals is specialized for writing software. Depending on the programming language used, the code editor will highlight code snippets and provide automatic indentation. This will help improve the readability of the code. These snippets can be added between the Article text or you can maintain an Article exclusively for the code.

How to access Code editor in Manuals?

Click Manuals from the menu in the left.
Open an existing manual or create a new Manual.
Open an existing Article or click Create Article in the top-right side of your Manual to create a new one.
Click the </> icon from the menu on the top.

In the editor, select a language and start typing your code.

Use the checkbox in the top-right of the Code editor, if you'd like to wrap your code.
Click Done.
Press enter/return to type any text.
