Overview
If a Checklist item needs additional importance, you can convert it into a separate Task within the same Board or add it to any other Board.
Who can convert a Checklist item into a Task?
Users who have permission to create Tasks in the Board can perform this action.
How to convert a Checklist item into a Task?

Click Tasks from the main menu in the left.

Navigate to the required Task and Checklist item.

Hover above the Checklist Item and click
seen in the right end of the checklist input box.
- In the pop-out, add additional details and change the Board and Section, if required.
- Once done, click Add Task.
What happens once the Checklist item is converted into a Task?
A new Task will be added in the selected Board. Assignees and due date of the Checklist Item, if any, will be automatically added to the Task.
In case the Checklist assignees are not a member of the selected Board or Private Section, the Task will be created without adding them as assignees. You'll have to add them as members to the Board or Private section first and then assign the Task.
The option to convert Checklist Items into Tasks is available only in Zoho Connect's
Enterprise plan.
