Using filters in Tasks in Zoho Connect

Overview

Task filters allow you to focus on priority tasks, helping you get a organized and optimized workflowIn Zoho Connect, you can create, edit, and share personalized filters in My Tasks and All Tasks. This feature helps you save time in manually filtering tasks for specific criteria.

How to create a filter in My Tasks/ All Tasks  

  1. Go to the Task page.
  2. Click the Funnel icon in the top-right corner of the page.

  3. From the dropdown, select filters based on Section name, Assignee, Start Date, Due Date, Priority, and Status, and Tags.
  4. Click Apply. You'll be able to view the tasks based on the selected criteria.

How to save a filter in Tasks  

  1. Go to the My Tasks or All Tasks section from the Task page.
  2. Click the Funnel icon in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. From the dropdown, select filters based on Section name, Assignee, Start Date, Due Date, Priority, and Status, and Tags.
  4. Once you've selected the required filters, click Save as preset at the bottom of the Filter menu.

  5. Enter a name for the selected filters and click Save & Apply.
 

How to access Saved Filters in Tasks  

  1. Go to the My Tasks or All Tasks section from the Task page.
  2. Click the Funnel icon in the top-right corner of the task page.
  3. Click the Saved filters tab to view a list of presets.

  4. Select the filter you want to view the tasks under.
 

How to edit a saved filter

  1. Go to the required Task.
  2. Click the Funnel icon in the top-right corner of the task page.
  3. Click Saved filters to get a list of presets.
  4. Click the ellipsis icon on the right, next to the task filter you need to share.
  5. From the dropdown, click Edit.
  6. Make the necessary changes and select Update in the bottom-left corner of the task filter menu.
 

How to share a filter with other members  

  1. Go to the required Task.
  2. Click the Funnel icon in the top-right corner of the task page.
  3. Click Saved filters to get a list of presets.
  4. Click the ellipsis icon in the right, next to the task filter you need to share.
  5. From the dropdown, click Share.

  6. In the pop-up, select the users you want to share the filter with.

  7. Click Share.
Sharing a task filter is only available for All Tasks.
