Overview

Task History is a feature in Zoho Connect that records all actions taken on a task. It allows you to see what changes were made, who made them, and when they occurred. Whether it's a status update, a deadline change, or a new assignee, Task History keeps a complete record of all modifications in one place.

Why is task history useful?  

Task history allows the team to stay informed of all activities and updates of the ask without having to ask.
  • You can keep track of task progress
  • You'll know who and when changes have been made in the task
  • For example, if a due date or task status changes, you can check the history to understand why.

How to view task history

  1. Go to Tasks.



  2. Click the task you want to see the history for.
  3. From the pop-up, click the three dots icon on the top-right corner.



  4. From the dropdown, select Task history.
    You'll now see a timeline of all task updates, including task status, due date, assignee updates, comment activities, and more.

Notes
Task history cannot be edited or deleted to maintain transparency.

 

How to export task history

At times, you might want to keep record of task history for future reference. In such cases, you can simply export them to your device.
To export task history,
  1. Select the task you'd want to export history for.
  2. Click the three dots icon on the top-right corner and select Task history from the drop-down.



  3. Click Export.



  4. Choose your export preferences and click Export file.
