How to restart a Town Hall session?

Overview

Organizers can restart completed sessions at any time they want. Once restarted, the participants can add new questions to it.

Who can restart a Town Hall session? 

Only the session organizer can restart it. 

How to restart a completed Town Hall session? 

  1. Click Town Hall from the main menu in the left.
  2. Click Completed Sessions from the extended menu.
           
  1. From the list of completed sessions, select the Town Hall session that you would like to restart.
  2. Click the ellipses (...) in the top-right part of the page.
  3. From the dropdown, select Restart session.
           
           

How to restart an archived session? 

In order to restart an archived session, you'll have to unarchive it first. 

To unarchive and restart a session, follow the steps given below: 
  1. Click Town Hall from the main menu in the left.
  2. Click the ellipsis (...) found in the bottom-left part of the page.
  3. From the dropdown, click Archived Town Halls.
           
  1. From the list of archived sessions, click the one you would like to restart.
  2. Click the ellipses (...) in the top-right part of the page.
  3. From the dropdown, click Unarchive.
           
  1. Once you get the message saying the session has been successfully unarchived, click Completed Sessions tab from the extended menu.
           
  1. From the list of completed sessions, select the session that you have unarchived.
  2. Click the ellipses (...) found in the top-right corner of the page. .
  3. From the dropdown, select Restart Session.
                      
Once restarted, participants and panelists will be notified that the session has been restarted.
