How to ask a question?
- Click Town Hall from the main menu in the left.
- From the list of ongoing sessions, navigate to the required session and click to open it.
- Click Ask a question found in the top-right corner of the page.
- In the post editor, type out your question and any additional information, if needed.
- You can also add images, links, and attachments to your question.
- Once done, click Ask to post your question.
The maximum size limit is 10 MB per file for documents. You can attach up to 10 documents. The maximum size limit for a video file is 200 MB.
Follow a session/question.
Following a Town Hall session lets users receive notifications whenever a new question is asked. You can also follow individual questions to receive notifications whenever a new comment or answer is added to that question.
How to follow a session?
- Click Town Hall from the main menu in the left.
- From the list of ongoing sessions, navigate to the required session and click to open it.
- Click the ellipsis (...) in the top-right corner of the page.
- From the dropdown, click Follow.
How to follow a question?
- Click Town Hall from the main menu in the left.
- From the list of ongoing sessions, navigate to the required session and question.
- Click the ellipsis (...) in the top-right corner of the question.
- From the dropdown, click Follow.
Members can react to questions asked by other members by upvoting or downvoting them, They can also add comments to it.
Answering questions
Members can add answers to questions only if they have been provided with the permission by the organizer.
How to add an answer?
- Navigate to the question that you'd like to answer.
- Click Add an answer seen in the bottom-left part of the question.
- In the text bar, type out your answer.
- Once done, click Post.
Filters & Reordering questions
All users who have access to the town hall could use the tabs provided at the top (All, Unanswered, Answered) to filter the questions, and reorder them according to Recent first, Oldest first or Most Upvoted.
