Overview

The Work Anniversary widget displays the profiles of colleagues who are celebrating their work anniversaries. You can use this widget to share a congratulations post on their wall.

Who can view the Work Anniversary widget? 

Every user can view this widget by default. However, the network admin can choose to disable the widget option across the network. When disabled by the admin, users cannot view the widget or enable it themselves.

How do I congratulate a colleague from the widget?

  1. Click Feeds in the main menu on the left.
  2. Navigate to the Work Anniversary widget section on the right side of the Feeds page and click on the required user's profile. 
  3. In the pop-up, type your congratulations message and click Share.
 Profiles of individuals who have chosen to hide their date of joining will not show up in the widget.

What happens once you share the message? 

The person you've congratulated will receive a notification, and your message will be posted on their wall. 

FAQ

1. Why don't I see the Work Anniversary widget? 
 
This might be due to one of the reasons below:
  1. The network admin has disabled the feature for your network. In this case, you can ask your admin to enable it.
  2. You might have disabled the work anniversary widget for yourself. In this case you can enable it by following the steps given below:
  1. Click Feeds in the main menu on the left.
  2. Click Manage Widgets in the bottom right corner of the Feeds page.
     

  3. From the list of options, toggle the button next to Work Anniversary.
  4. You'll now see Work Anniversary listed among your widgets. 
 If Work Anniversary is not displayed among the options in the Manage Widgets list, your network admin has likely disabled it.
