Creating a web tab

Feature Availability

Overview

Websites you often use can be added as web tabs and accessed from within your Zoho Connect network. Web tabs can be created at the network level, group level, or privately.

Who can create a web tab?

Network admins can create web tabs that are accessible to all members in the network. Group admins can do it for their group members.  Also, all members can create private web tabs — that can be accessed only by the individual member.

How do I create a web tab for the entire network?

If you're a network admin, you can create a web tab for all users by following the steps below:

  1. Login to your Zoho Connect network.
  2. Click the ellipsis (...) at the bottom of the main menu on the left.
  3. Select Add Web Tab from the list of options.

  4. Fill in the name, description, and URL. When entering the URL, make sure that the website you're adding supports loading its content within another app.
  5. In the Access field, select "Everyone in this network" option to make it accessible to everyone in the network. Or, if you want to only members to access it and restrict external collaborators from viewing it, select "Members onlyfrom the list of options.
  6. Click Save.

The tab you create will appear in the left menu for all members.
