Allow Renewal of Expired Contracts

1. Select the Admin tab at the top of the page.
2. Select Contract Types from the left panel.
3. Click to open the contract type that you want to allow the renewal of expired contracts.
4. Select Contract Settings at the top of the contract type details page.
5. Select Renewal and Extension under Contract Settings.
6. Check the Allow to renew expired contracts checkbox in the Renewals section, then click Save.

Allow Renewal after Notice Period has Elapsed

1. Select the Admin tab at the top of the page.
2. Select Contract Types from the left panel.
3. Click to open the contract type that you want to allow renewal after the renewable notice period has elapsed.
4. Select Contract Settings at the top of the contract type details page.
5. Select Renewal and Extension under Contract Settings.
6. Check the Allow to renew manually renewable contracts even if the renewable notice period has elapsed checkbox in the Renewals section.
7. Check Show a warning for elapsed days before renewing checkbox to alert contract owners when this occurs, then click Save.

Set Renewal to be Signed By Options

1. Select the Admin tab at the top of the page.
2. Select Contract Types from the left panel.
3. Click to open the contract type that you want to set the renewal sign-by options.
4. Select Contract Settings at the top of the contract type details page.
5. Select Renewal and Extension under Contract Settings.
6. Select the required options in the Renewal to be Signed By section, then click Save.

Note:

1. The options you selected here will be available in the Renewal Sign By field when a contract of this type is renewed.
   
2. At least one option must be selected.
   

Set Default Renewal Sign By

1. Select the Admin tab at the top of the page.
2. Select Contract Types from the left panel.
3. Click to open the contract type that you want to set the default renewal sign-by option.
4. Select Contract Settings at the top of the contract type details page.
5. Select Renewal and Extension under Contract Settings.
6. Choose the required option in the Default Renewal Sign By field, then click Save.

Note:

1. The option you choose here is preselected in the Sign By field when a contract of this type is renewed.
   
2. Only the options checked in the Renewal to be Signed By section are available in this list.
   

Allow Extension of Non-Renewable Definite Term Contracts

1. Select the Admin tab at the top of the page.
2. Select Contract Types from the left panel.
3. Click to open the contract type that you want to allow the extension of non-renewable contracts.
4. Select Contract Settings at the top of the contract type details page.
5. Select Renewal and Extension under Contract Settings.
6. Check the Allow to extend non-renewable definite term contracts checkbox in the Extensions section.
7. Specify the maximum number of times a contract of this type can be extended in the Maximum number of extensions allowed field, then click Save.

Note: 

1. This setting applies only to non-renewable, definite term contracts. 
2. You can specify a maximum of 99 extensions in the Maximum number of extensions allowed field.
3. Once the maximum number of extensions is reached, no further extensions can be made to the contract.
   

Set Extension to be Signed By Options

1. Select the Admin tab at the top of the page.
2. Select Contract Types from the left panel.
3. Click to open the contract type that you want to set the extension sign-by options.
4. Select Contract Settings at the top of the contract type details page.
5. Select Renewal and Extension under Contract Settings.
6. Check the required options in the Extension to be Signed By section, then click Save.

Note:

1. The options you check here will be available in the Extension Sign By field when a contract of this type is extended.
   
2. At least one option must be checked.
   

Set Default Extension Sign By

1. Select the Admin tab at the top of the page.
2. Select Contract Types from the left panel.
3. Click to open the contract type that you want to set the default extension sign-by option.
4. Select Contract Settings at the top of the contract type details page.
5. Select Renewal and Extension under Contract Settings.
6. Choose the required option in the Default Extension Sign By field, then click Save.

Note:

1. The option you choose here is preselected in the Sign By field when a contract of this type is extended.
   
2. Only the options checked in the Extension to be Signed By section are available in this list.
