Amending a Counterparty Initiated Contract
Add New Amendment
- Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the Active contract that you want to add an amendment.
- Click More
at the top of the contract details page, then choose Add New Amendment. - Enter the details and upload the amendment letter in the Add Amendment Details panel, then click Add.
Note:
- You can upload the Amendment letter or document and Digi Sign Certificate in .pdf format.
- The maximum allowed file size for each document is 100 MB.
- You can also add the amendment details during the Signed contract that is yet to become active.
Tip:
You can also add amendment details to a contract by selecting the Amendments tab in the contract details panel provided there are no existing amendments for the contract. To do so:
- Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the Active contract that you want to amend.
- Select the Amendments tab in the contract details panel on the left.
- Click Add New Amendment.
- Enter the details and upload the amendment letter in the Add Amendment Details panel, then click Add.
Edit Amendment Details
- Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the Active contract with the amendment in the Draft state.
- Select the Amendments tab in the contract details panel on the left.
- Click More
next to the current version of the amendment, then choose Edit. - Change the details in the Amendment Details form based on your requirements.
- Click Update.
Note: You can edit the amendment details only when the contract is in the Amended state.
Delete an Amendment
- Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the Active contract in which you want to delete an amendment.
- Select the Amendments tab in the contract details panel on the left.
- Click More
next to the current version of the amendment, then choose Delete.
Note: You cannot delete an amendment after it becomes Active.
