- Log in to your Zoho CRM account.
- Select the tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the record in which you want to send a contract for negotiation.
- Click More
next to the contract in the Zoho Contracts section from the related list of the potential, then choose Request to Send for Negotiation.
The contract owner in Zoho Contracts will receive an email request to send the contract for negotiation.

Note:
- If the contract has an approval workflow associated with it in Zoho Contracts, the Request to Send for Negotiation option will be available only after the contract is already approved in Zoho Contracts.
- If the contract does not have an approval workflow associated with it in Zoho Contracts, the Request to Send for Negotiation option will be available after the contract owner completes the contract draft in Zoho Contracts.
- The Request to Send for Negotiation option will also be available for contract amendments, renewals, and extensions.
Request to Send for Signature
- Log in to your Zoho CRM account.
- Select the tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the record in which you want to send a contract for signature.
- Click More
next to the contract in the Zoho Contracts section from the related list of the potential, then choose Request to Send for Signature.
The contract owner in Zoho Contracts will receive an email request to send the contract for signature.
Note:
- The Request to Send for Signature option will be available only after the contract is marked as negotiated or if the negotiation is skipped in Zoho Contracts.
- The Request to Send for Signature option will also be available for amendments, renewals, and extensions.
Request to Extend
- Log in to your Zoho CRM account.
- Select the tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the record in which you want to extend a contract.
- Click More
next to the contract in the Zoho Contracts section from the related list of the potential, then choose Request to Extend.
The contract owner in Zoho Contracts will receive an email request to extend the contract.
Note: The Request to Extend option will be available only for active contracts in Zoho Contracts that are renewable and with a definite term.
Request to Renew
- Log in to your Zoho CRM account.
- Select the tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the record in which you want to renew a contract.
- Click More
next to the contract in the Zoho Contracts section from the related list of the potential, then choose Request to Renew.
The contract owner in Zoho Contracts will receive an email request to renew the contract.
Note: The Request to Renew option will be available only for active contracts in Zoho Contracts with manual renewal and a definite term.
Request to Amend
- Log in to your Zoho CRM account.
- Select the tab at the top of the page.
- Click to open the record in which you want to amend a contract.
- Click More
next to the contract in the Zoho Contracts section from the related list of the potential, then choose Request to Amend.
The contract owner in Zoho Contracts will receive an email request to amend the contract.
Note: The Request to Amend option will be available only for active contracts in Zoho Contracts.
