Add Negotiators and Send for Negotiation

Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.

Click to open the contract in the Approved state that you want to send for negotiation.

Click Send for Negotiation at the top of the contract details page.

Click Add More at the bottom of the Negotiators list in the Send for Negotiation dialog box. The counterparty's primary contact will be a negotiator by default.

Choose a negotiator in the Negotiator field, then set the permission for the negotiator.

Click
to select the authentication delivery mode for sharing the password with the negotiator, then click Save. By default, the delivery mode is set to Email.

Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 to add multiple negotiators.

Click Send. The negotiators will receive an email notification from which they can access the contract document.
Note:
- The contract owner can only send the contract for negotiation after it is approved internally.
- When a contract type does not have an approval workflow associated with it, the contract owners can send those contracts for negotiation directly after completing the draft.
- If the contract owner does not choose a Counterparty Primary Contact at the time of the creation of the contract, they can choose one in the Send for Negotiation dialogue box. The first negotiator that the contract owner adds will be the counterparty's primary contact.
Tip:
You can also add a negotiator to a contract that is in the In Negotiation - Review Pending state.

Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.

Click to open the contract you want to add a negotiator in.

Select the Negotiations tab in the contract details panel on the left.

Click More
at the top of the Negotiators tab, then choose Add Negotiators.

Choose a negotiator in the Negotiator field, then set the permission for the negotiator.

Click Add and Send. The negotiators will receive an email notification from which they can access the contract document.
Add Counterparty Requested Negotiators
When a negotiator requests the contract owner to add other negotiators representing the counterparty, the contract owner will receive an email with a link to access the contract document.
To add counterparty requested negotiators:
- Open the email in which the counterparty has requested to add negotiators.
- Click Add as Negotiators in the email. The contact details and permission of each negotiator will be auto-filled in the respective Negotiator and Permission fields.
- Click
to select the authentication delivery mode for sharing the password with the negotiator, then click Save. By default, the delivery mode is set to Email. - Click Add and Send. The negotiators will receive an email notification from which they can access the contract document.
Note: Upon clicking Add and Send, if the contacts are not yet associated with the counterparty, a pop-up window to add the contacts will appear. Click Yes in the pop-up window to add these contacts to the counterparty.
Recall Negotiation

Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.

Click to open the contract in the In Negotiation - Review Pending state you want to recall negotiation for.

Click Recall Negotiation at the top of the contract details page. Upon recall, the negotiators will receive an email notification.
View Negotiation Activity

Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.

Click to open the contract you want to view the negotiation activity for.

Select the Negotiations tab in the contract details panel on the left, then view the Activity section.
