Overview
Zoho Contracts users can set their regional details to customize the application interface as per their preference and leverage a unified user experience. The language preference will help to view the application interface in their preferred language. The Time Zone information will display the time information across the app in their current time zone. The selected Country will list the applicable date, time, and number formats in the respective date format styles (Short, Medium, Full, and Long) picklist from which they can choose a preferred choice or add a custom format.
This can be followed by the explanation of the format styles in a table as follows:
Format Style | Description |
Short | Applies to the date and time fields present in forms. |
Medium | Applies to the date columns in the tabular data. |
Long | Applies to the date and time information in alerts. |
Full | Applies to the date and time details in notifications, comments, and and activity views. |
Set Up Regional Settings
- Click the User Icon at the top-right corner.
- Click Regional Settings under Personal Settings.
- Choose your regional details and preferred formats in the Regional Settings window, then click Update.

Note:
- You can add custom date and time formats for all format styles (Short, Medium, Long, and Full). To add a custom format, select Add Custom Format from the respective format style's picklist, enter the date and time elements, then click Add and Apply.
- To update a custom format, click Edit
next to the custom format in the respective format style's picklist, change or enter the new date and time elements, then click Update. - To delete a custom format, click Delete
next to the custom format in the respective format style's picklist. - The default Country and Language will be set based on your profile details in Zoho Accounts.
- The predefined formats suggested will be based on the selected Country. When you change the Country, the value selected will be reset with the respective Country's default format.
