Reports Overview
Reports extract and present your contract data in tables and other graphical visualizations, based on the criteria that you choose. Administrators can track key business metrics and trends easily with reports, and use them to identify outliers.
They enable administrators to make well-informed decisions by arriving at actionable insights from a plethora of diverse data. The reporting capability of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software transforms contracts from static documents to strategic assets.
In Zoho Contracts, we have 45+ standard reports across different aspects of contract management. You can further filter the data in the standard reports using the filter options available for each report. You can also download and print these reports.

List of Standard Reports
Zoho Contracts supports the following list of standard reports. The reports are grouped based on various aspects of contract management, as listed below.
General
A general report presents the contract data based on any of the standard attributes of contracts. For example, status or renewal type of contracts.

- Contracts by Contract Type
- Contracts by Department
- Contracts by Approval Workflow Type
- Contracts by Renewal Type
- Contracts by Initiated Party
- Active Contracts
- Renewed Contracts
- Extended Contracts

- Terminated Contracts
Activity or Milestone
When a contract owner creates the contract, it is in the Draft state. The contract then travels through different milestones, such as Approval, Negotiation, and Signature, after which it can finally become Active.
Activity or Milestone reports filter the contracts based on their position in reference to any of these milestones.

- Contracts Pending for Approval
- Contracts Pending for Negotiation
- Contracts Pending for Signing
- Contracts Waiting to be Active
- Contracts Became Active Within a Period
- Upcoming Renewals
Performance
Performance reports will help you identify areas in your contract management process that need your attention, and mitigate bottlenecks, if any.
Some of the critical metrics to analyze the performance of a contract's execution are its cycle time (i.e., the period between the time of contract creation and the time when it becomes active), the number of times it gets rejected during approval, and the number of negotiation cycles it undergoes.

Clauses
Regulatory changes in the industry, or even an internal policy change, will demand changes in some of the clause languages. Clause reports can enable an effective assessment of the impact of these changes across all your business deals.

Obligations
Obligation management is central to keeping the risk of any enterprise at check. With obligation reports, you can filter the obligations based on a variety of parameters, track their progress, and quickly identify defaults.

Counterparty
Counterparty reports give the number of contracts signed with a particular counterparty or counterparty type. A deeper understanding of the behavior of a counterparty or a counterparty type can equip you to devise better negotiation strategies.

Users
User reports help you evaluate the performance of the individual members in your organization.
