The contract has expired.
The contract has been terminated.

The Zoho Contracts plan has been downgraded from the Professional plan to the Standard plan, and the contract is not among the first 25 contracts created in that particular month.
A contract status will change to Sign Expired if the parties involved in its signature did not sign the contract document within a particular period. The failure to execute on time can be due to various reasons, like changes in circumstances, requiring more time to complete some necessary steps before the contract signature, etc. The signature expiration date for such contracts can be further extended in Zoho Contracts.
To extend the signature expiration date:
Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page.
Click to open the original, amended, or renewed contract in the Sign Expired state for which you want to extend the signature expiry date.
Click Extend Sign Expiry at the top-right corner of the page, select a new date, then click Extend.
The contract will change to the Sign Pending status, and notification will be sent again to the respective parties for signature.

Note:
The default number of days by which a sign pending contract will change to Sign Expired state in Zoho Contracts is 15 days. You can customize this number of days in Zoho Sign under Settings > Account settings > Days to complete.
The Extend Sign Expiry button won't be available for Sign Expired state contracts whose Contract End Date is a specific date and if that end date has passed.
